A few weeks ago we presented you a list with a selection of wines from Decanter magazine. Here you will now find the second part of it.<\/h3>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.10.7″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Decanter’s first Pinotage panel tasting took place in 1999.<\/strong> After 22 years, Decanter’s jurors met again to taste South African Pinotages. One hundred forty-two wines were tasted after two full days. Victoria Mason said afterwards that their expectations of the Juri were more than met.<\/p>\r\n

As communicated in the last post, Mason said: \u00abThe tasting has shown that Pinotage shows a natural affinity for generous oak treatment – both French and American – and that it is equally comfortable when unoaked or aged in big, old oak.\u00bb<\/p>\r\n
