KapWeine at \u00abMatter of Taste 2022\u00bb<\/h1>\n

South African wines at the top of the world!<\/h2>\n

At the 4th edition of the \u00abMatter of Taste\u00bb in Zurich, the team of KapWeine interacted with numerous visitors, sommeliers, wine experts and exhibitors and put the wines of South Africa in the spotlight.<\/h3>\n

On 2 and 3 April, numerous visitors found themselves in the\u00abThe Dolder Grand\u00bb<\/strong><\/a> in Zurich to take part in one of the most important international wine events: \u00abMatter of Taste\u00bb for Robert Parker<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, and of course South Africa could be represented in this event thanks to CapeWines.<\/p>\n

More than 500 top wines with ratings between 90 and 100 Parker points were on hand, presented by over 200 award-winning wineries as well as importers from around the world. The KapWeine team also participated in this fourth edition to showcase South African wines – and lo and behold, it bore fruit!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u00abCap-Angels\u00bb, Sommeliers and wine experts, did not miss the opportunity to present the best wines and the best vintages from South Africa with over 90 Parker points: Sadie Family<\/a>, Alheit<\/a>, David & Nadia<\/a>, Glenelly<\/a>, Porseleinberg<\/a>, Rainbow’s End<\/a>, Savage<\/a>, Stellenrust<\/a>, Tokara<\/a> and Le Riche<\/a>. Also the producers of Constantia Glen<\/strong><\/a> and Klein Constantia<\/strong><\/a> also joined us This opportunity made it a special experience for the visitors.<\/p>\n

A lot of the \u00abMatter of Taste\u00bb<\/strong><\/em> Participants were surprised by the quality of the South African wines and most of them noted down their favourites to enjoy further in private. Some of those present were pleased with the work that KapWeine has been doing for more than 26 years to strengthen the culture and presence of South African wines in Switzerland.<\/p>\n

\u00abMatter of Taste\u00bb<\/strong><\/em> was definitely a beautiful experience that we will remember: We received many good reviews on the South African wines and met new wine friends of South Africa with whom we shared a glass of wine. As a team, we were proud that we could inspire more and more people for South Africa and CapeWines.<\/p>\n
