Nach seinem Ausscheiden 2004 aus dem Meerlust Estate begr\u00fcndete Giorgio die Dalla Cia Wine & Spirit Company, gemeinsam mit seinem Sohn George, dem er viel von seinem Wissen und seinem Engagement f\u00fcr traditionelle Weine und feinste Schn\u00e4pse vermittelte. Die Dalla Cia Produkte bezeugen auch heute noch diese Passion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dalla Cia gilt als einzigartige Kombination italienischer Tradition und leidenschaftlicher Innovation. Gegr\u00fcndet wurde das Weingut vom legend\u00e4ren Winemaker Giorgio Dalla Cia, dem Macher des ersten, im Bordeaux Stil erzeugten, s\u00fcdafrikanischen Blends, dem Rubicon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dalla Cia steht f\u00fcr au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliche Qualit\u00e4t, Authentizit\u00e4t und progressives Denken. Die Weine sind gut strukturiert, k\u00f6rperreich mit enormem Lagerpotenzial. Zu seinem 60ten Geburtstag, produzierte Giorgio den ersten Wein unter dem Namen Dalla Cia. Der unverz\u00fcglich einsetzende Erfolg des Labels inspirierte ihn zum n\u00e4chsten Schritt in seiner illustren Karriere. Im Jahr 2005 entschied er sich dazu, auch Grappa zu produzieren. Das ist nicht verwunderlich, brennen die Dalla Cia’s doch bereits seit den 1920er Jahren Grappa im italienischen Friaul!<\/span><\/p>\n
