Our colleagues from SonntagsBlick wanted to find out once again and undertook an international comparison of the \u00abMerlot\u00bb grape variety. In the blind tasting, 51 Merlot wines from all over the world faced each other.<\/h3>\r\n

The SonntagsBlick’s big Merlot blind tasting took place on December the 17th, 2023. 17.52 Points by BLICK<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Careful work in the vineyard and cellar results in a wine with a bright ruby color, pure, structured fruit and enticingly firm yet flavorful tannins. As with all Eagles’ Nest red wines, there is a subtle peppery spiciness that makes this wine both distinctive. Aromas of mulberry, dark chocolate and tobacco add further complexity.
