Das Marianne Wine Estate liegt am Simonsberg s\u00fcdwestlich von Stellenbosch im Weinland der Kapregion. Das Weingut mit seinen Appartements und das Manor House sind von den Obstg\u00e4rten und Weinfeldern der Farm umgeben, auf der hervorragende Weine hergestellt werden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Benannt wurde das Anwesen nach Frankreichs Marianne, dem Symbol f\u00fcr Freiheit, Gleichheit und Br\u00fcderlichkeit, das auch die Verbindung der Besitzer des Weinguts mit ihrer Vergangenheit als Hugenotten repr\u00e4sentieren soll.<\/span><\/p>\n

Winzer ist Francois Haasbroek, der zuvor bei Neil Ellis Wine Estate, Dry Creek Vineyard (Sonoma, California), and Jackson Estate in Marlborough, New Zealand t\u00e4tig war. Francois war Weinmacher bei Waterford Estate von 2004 bis 2012.<\/span><\/p>\n
