South africa Charity with jonny fischer
for Michi Anghern’s project
The comedian from the comedy duo divertimento, Jonny Fischer, is, as we all know, a big South Africa fan and supporter of charity projects.
Slideshow: Jonny was also traveling in South Africa with his comedy partner Manu Burkhart for Swiss television.
In the times of Corona, which repeatedly mean for South Africa that tourism is collapsing again thanks to the travel ban and the redlisting of South Africa, we have decided to carry out a Chocolate Block Promotion and, with your support, make a contribution .
Tourism is an important lifeline for South Africa. Many livelihoods depend on this branch of the economy. The guest houses, hotels, airlines, the entire tourism industry with tour operators, wildlife parks, game reserves, wine farms, restaurants etc. and all their employees.
They all suffer from the abandonment of international tourists. In addition, the next lockdown is coming, which will soon be a fact! Then the local tourists and customers are also restricted and thus further great damage is caused. Thousands of jobs, incomes and people depend on all these smaller and larger companies.
That is why we have decided to make a contribution to the UBUNGANI charity supported by Jonny Fischer and Michi Angehrn. The two good souls are personally committed to the Baphumelele children’s and orphanage in Khayelitsha near Cape Town and thus make the life of many children in South Africa more bearable and help them get off to a good start in a better future.

"Quote: Interview with Schweizer Illustrierte"
With Rosie Mashi’s Baphumelele Children’s Home, we have finally found something suitable. She took in children who were neglected, abused or evicted without money or resources. She accompanies the kids until they come of age and then makes sure that they do an apprenticeship. In other words, she’s really doing something sustainable. Her children’s home is now part of the Swiss charity «Ubungani» .
