The history of the Expovina wine ships dates back to 1958, when they were first held in Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city. Since then, they have become an annual tradition, attracting wine lovers from all over the world. The idea behind these floating wine fairs was to give wine producers the opportunity to present their wines to a wide audience without having to run a permanent wine shop.
