In honor of our loyal clientele and our many years of existence, a South African summer party of a special kind awaits you at the end of August. Because this year «KapWeine – The Home of South African Wine» is proudly 26 years old!
Immerse yourself in the South Africa Days in Wädenswil and taste novelties, perennial favorites, Magnum Hammer Deals as well as Killer Deal offers. A number of producers will also be here to present their wines personally. With over 200 wines open, with a MCC and gin showcase, you will also be able to enjoy our sparkling-bar and our grill/braai-stand. Enjoy live music in a cozy atmosphere, with Arts & Crafts / Food and Charity exhibitors as well as travel presentations and relax and unwind.

We used our connections and were able to convince 13 producers to participate in the «South Africa Days 2022» this year.
So many wine producers at once that there have never been! As a visitor you have the opportunity and the pleasure to be personally advised and learn more about these special wineries of South Africa. An exclusive and unique opportunity for you, as well as for us, which must not be missed!
Bartinney
From Stellenbosch and known for Sauvignon Blancs as well as Chardonnays, Kobie Locher of Bartinney will present the wines.
Constanita Glen
From Constantia directly at Table Mountain, CEO Horst Prader will present the Constantia Glens wines as well as the Magnum Hammer Deals.
Creation Wines
From Hemel-en-Aarde of Walkers Bay, Swiss winemaker Jean-Claude Martin presents Creation wines.
De Grendel
Flown in from Durbanville, Sir De Villiers Graaff (4th Baron) will personally present the wines of De Grendel.
Diemersdal
From Durbanville with the winemaker and owner Matthys Michael Louw and his wife Cecilia Johanna Louw, who present Diemersdal.
RUSTE EN VREDE
From Stellenbosch will arrive Mr. Warren Granat Mulder (International Sales Manager), who will show the wines of Rust En Vrede.
Haute Cabrière
Traveling from Franschhoek Valley, Takuan von Arnim, CEO of the Haute Cabrière winery will show his creations.
Jacaranda
From Wellington with Swiss roots, co-owner Birgit Reiser represents Jacaranda wines. René Reiser, meanwhile, looks after the farm.
Longridge
Our new brand, with 25 biodynamic wines in the range, is presented by Nora Hudson of Longridge Winery.
Meerendal
From Durbanville Siobhan Hughes (Europe Sales Manager) will present the wines of Meerendal.
Saxenburg
From Stellenbosch and with Swiss roots the Buhrer family (owners), who will show their wines personally.
Taaibosch
From Stellenbosch at the Helderberg with the Cordoba Legend, Mark Lester (Marketing Manger) represents the Taaibosch Wines.
Warwick
Our White Wine of the Year 2022, as well as the complete Warwick line, is presented by Christiane von Arnim from Stellenbosch.

Friends of African Wildlife is a Swiss organization that supports the local population and nature as well as wildlife, with projects «Adopt a Student», «Save a Rhino», «Dog 4 Rhinos», «Eye in the Sky» and«Community 4 Conservation» training and the protection of animals are promoted.

The Swiss Board of Aid is a Swiss-South African charity organisation helping on the ground in the poorest province of South Africa (Eastern Cape) by supporting hospitals and schools and giving children in need a save and loving home.
Rhino Tears & Swiss Board of Aid – Charity
Rhino poaching has reached a critical point in South Africa. Despite extensive efforts by teams on the ground, rhino populations across the country continue to plummet. Rhino Tears Wine was launched at the end of 2014 to raise funds for the fight against rhino poaching in South Africa’s national parks. 15 Rand per sold bottle goes directly to the rangers of Sanparks and more than 2 million Rand have been raised against rhino poaching.
