KapWeine & Charity
A year ago, KapWeine teamed up with the Swiss charity organization Friends of African Wildlife and supported the projects "Adopt a Student", "Save a Rhino", "Dog 4 Rhinos", "Eye in the Sky", and "Community 4 Conservation" through wine sales. After selling over 2200 bottles of wine, we have already collected a proud CHF 3300 in donations. We are delighted by the commitment and active support of our customers and sincerely thank you.

Friday, June 16, 2023 – Friends of African Wildlife Summer Event
This year, the charity organization Friends of African Wildlife is once again hosting its annual summer event on the rooftops of Zurich. A great program awaits you, offering insights into the charity projects in South Africa and their development, as well as live music, an art exhibition, and culinary delights from the HAUTE kitchen.
- Theresa Sowry, CEO of the Southern African Wildlife College, will provide insights into her work and the latest developments.
- Singer and songwriter Levin Deger and singer Nyssina will provide atmospheric sounds with their live music.
- And Sandra Chiocchetti is back! Three years ago, we successfully presented the artist's distinctive works. With a great sense of animal spirit, she brings the soul of animals to paper. At our event, she will publicly present her large canvas works for the first time. But that's not all: you'll have the unique opportunity to watch her create two works and see how sketch art emerges from an initial splash of color. These two unique pieces will be auctioned off that evening.
- Additionally, enjoy culinary delights from the popular HAUTE kitchen.
- You will be guided through the evening by Christoph Weber, President of the "Friends of African Wildlife" association.
KapWeine supports Friends of African Wildlife with a charity wine offer and provides South African wines for serving at the annual summer event.
FRIDAY, June 16, 2023, 6-11 PM, AT HAUTE IN ZURICH
This year, you can also become a patron.
For every bottle sold, KapWeine donates CHF 1.50 to the Friends of African Wildlife organization.
An alluring interplay of dark fruits and spices on the nose. The allure continues on the palate: blackcurrant, blueberry, violet, a hint of cedar, cocoa, and tobacco leaf. The palate is soft and spicy with a velvety texture and powdery-fine tannins. It is simultaneously rich, well-rounded, and refined, smoothly appealing and structured by the sympathetic oak, which is harmoniously integrated. Rewarding and long on the finish.
