KapWeine goes classic

Join us for an unforgettable classical evening. Pianist, conductor, and long-time friend Daniel Moos will perform where South African wine and culinary delights meet classical music. We invite you to the 1st prize-winner concert at Rapperswil Castle. Afterwards, join us for a South African apéritif in a knightly atmosphere.

Saturday, June 18, 2022, 8 PM in the Great Knight's Hall

After 2 years of "silence in the music business," we are delighted to offer you free admission to this extraordinary evening at Rapperswil Castle. As the castle will close its doors at the end of June until mid-2024, this is likely to be the last musical treat in the castle.

Seats are limited and will be allocated in order of booking. You will receive a confirmation from us after a successful reservation. Reserved seats not claimed on the concert day will be charged at CHF 49.

Schloss Rapperswil

KapWeine invites you to this concert evening free of charge

Daniel Moos, piano & moderation, presents the 1st prize-winner concert at Rapperswil Castle – a rarity featuring exclusively young first prize winners! – The variable ensemble "theXcellos" won 1st prize at the Swiss Youth Music Competition in 2018 & 2019!

The ensemble was prepared for the competitions by Claude Hauri, cello. Claude Hauri himself is successfully engaged as a soloist and artistic director of various concert series.

Milo Hauri-Ferrazzini, cello, has won 1st prize as a soloist at the Swiss Youth Music Competition twice and has already performed as a soloist with orchestras on several occasions.

A young star on the violin is Veronika Miecznikowski, also a multiple 1st prize winner. Matilde Agosti won 1st prizes at a very young age and played with orchestras.

An exceptional and varied program features classical highlights: the virtuosic sonata by N. Paganini, Meditation "Thais" by J. Massenet, Hungarian Dances by J. Brahms, the famous "Czardas" by V. Monti, and Beethoven's Finale "Ode to Joy" from the 9th Symphony.
