What is the correct order for a wine tasting?

If you've never been to a wine tasting, you should definitely try it. There's no better way to discover the diversity of wines. Even if you're not a wine connoisseur, you'll quickly develop a taste for it and will certainly know which grape varieties you prefer after the wine tasting. With that in mind, dare to experience it and try to follow these rules.

Basically, the following rules apply:
1. It's best to start with MCC/sparkling wines and then move on to rosé wines.
2. White wines are tasted before red wines.
3. Dry wines before sweet wines.
4. Light wines before heavy and high-alcohol wines.
5. Young wines before older wines.
6. Cheaper wines before more expensive wines.
7. At the end of the tasting, another sparkling wine to balance the palate.
