A deep dark ruby red with subtle violet reflections shines in the glass. A pleasant, intense aroma of red fruits, blackberries and black currants awaits you, paired with a hint of dark chocolate, coffee and fine woody spice. On the palate, the aromas are reflected and the powerful berry fruit appears very juicy. The Tinta Barroca has a good body, beautifully integrated, grippy tannins and appears incredibly balanced overall. A very successful appearance.

Vinifikation The vineyards for this Tinta Barocca are situated 140 meters above sea level and face southeast. The grapes were hand-picked in February, fermented on the skins for 5-7 days at 25°C, and then pressed. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matured for 18 months in new and used French oak barrels.
