Product Description:
Rich red fruits glide from the glass like silk and velvet made tangible. Veils of spicy, resinous branches dissolve into mulberries, olive tapenade, and notes of night flowers. The palate drips with ripe redcurrants, juicy and flowing with a gentle, blood-orange acidity. A hint of cherry cola and fresh black pepper lines barely perceptible tannins, leading to a balanced and cleanly dry finish.

Vinifikation The Syrah was hand-picked and spontaneously fermented in open fermenters with regular pump-overs. A small portion underwent carbonic maceration. After an extended maceration, the wine was then pressed and transferred to barrels and foudres for malolactic fermentation. The Syrah spent 8 months in 500 and 300-liter oak barrels and additionally in 2500-liter foudres.
