Lemongrass and lime set the tone, complemented by gooseberries, white peach, and tropical fruits. Elegant and vital, our Sauvignon Blanc gradually unfolds with aromas of blackcurrant, citrus fruits, and elderflower. The concentrated aromas are mirrored on the palate, where they meet a lively acidity and a compact texture. Freshness, refinement, and elegance characterize the mouthfeel. The long lees contact and the small but important proportion of Sémillon give the wine body and fullness, buffering the vibrant acidity.

Vinifikation The grapes for the Constantia Glen Sauvignon Blanc all come from our own vineyards and were hand-harvested in the early morning hours. After cooling for several hours, they were destemmed and crushed. Different batches were then left on the skins for between two and 18 hours before being drained, recombined, pressed, and fermented at a constant 15 degrees Celsius. To achieve its perfect balance, it then matured on the lees in stainless steel tanks for five months. It was bottled on August 17, 2022.
