Product Description:
Intense, dark color - almost black; the rim a fuchsia-toned "halo." The start is brilliant with aromas of piquant pepper and cassis, followed by subtle notes of cinnamon and clove, with hints of fragrant rose petals. Sensual, smooth, and velvety on the palate, a balanced spectrum of aromas of maraschino cherries and sun-dried peach with notes of piquant black olives and fine spice. A wine of great complexity and elegance: a varietally typical Syrah from the upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley that proudly reflects its origin.
