Geschacksnoten Full-bodied & powerful, Matured & complex, Barrel-aged
Vinifikation The grapes come from bush vines in a vineyard planted in 1974. This vineyard yields very little, and 7-8 selections are made over a period of 4-5 weeks to capture the true essence of the grapes and the terroir. The grapes were hand-picked at optimal ripeness and carefully sorted, after which the fermentation process took place in the cellar in 400-liter French oak barrels, using only naturally occurring "wild" yeasts. After fermentation, the wine was aged for an additional 10-12 months in French oak.
