Product Description:
It has a bright bouquet of redcurrants and cranberries (actually not dissimilar to, for example, a Beaune Premier Cru), followed by light earthy notes. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and of medium complexity. It is outshone by the stunning Chardonnays from Kershaw, but it should drink well for several years.

Vinifikation The grapes were hand-picked, sorted and destemmed. They were then transferred whole to open fermentation tanks, macerated for 3 days and spontaneously fermented. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine was left on the skins for 10-16 days. Malolactic fermentation took place in Burgundian oak barrels. The Pinot Noir was aged for 11 months in 12% new French oak barrels of three different sizes.
