Vinifikation The Howard John, named after Franco Lourens' father (Franco is Chris Alheit's right-hand man), is an assemblage of Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah. The grapes all come from the Swartland and the wine was fermented with 60% whole bunches. Aging took place for 10 months in old French barrels.
