Product Description:
Initially a dark, masculine nose of tobacco leaf, leather, saddle sweat, shiitake mushroom, and spices; opens to reveal a hint of herbs and pink fruits. The spicy fullness on the palate balances nicely with the surprising freshness of eucalyptus and red fruits that shines through. On the palate, it is colorful and full-bodied with creamy, long-lasting tannins.

Vinifikation Whole bunches of grapes are lightly crushed and fermented in small open-top fermenters with regular punch-downs. Towards the end of fermentation, the must was pressed in a basket press and the wine was transferred to old 225-litre barrels to complete malolactic fermentation. The wine matured in barrel for 18 months before blending. It was unfined and bottled in October 2019.
