Product Description:
This wine offers a dark, brooding nose with spices and a distinct note of white pepper and a hint of violets. On the palate, blackberries and red cherries emerge, but also a lingering peppery spice and violet nuances with a long finish of black olives and soft vanilla undertones.

Vinifikation The grapes for this wine are harvested from a single Shiraz vineyard planted in 1972. It was formerly planted with tobacco and was the only vines on our Helderberg property. Sadly, it was sold to the Co-Op, but over the last 7 years, we have made it our mission to protect and preserve these old vineyards and bring several of them back into shape with various varietals.
