Product Description:
The 2017 Merlot Reserve comes from specific plots within the vineyard and was aged in new French oak. Dominant wood and berry aromas on the nose. The slightly minty palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins and moderate acidity, and a woody finish.

Vinifikation This wine is an assemblage of the best parcels from our Merlot vineyards. A wine with good structure and exceptional concentrations of ripe berries and cedarwood. The grapes were destemmed, crushed, and cold-macerated. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks and lasted approximately 5 days at 27°C with regular pump-overs. After pressing, the wine was transferred to barrels for malolactic fermentation. The Merlot was then aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
