On the palate, this highly acclaimed wine presents remarkable elegance with leathery tannins and warm spices. Intense and opulent nuances of dark berries and fresh herbs tantalise the senses, leading to a long and pleasantly smooth finish.

Vinifikation Made from our slightly drier Shiraz vineyard block on the estate, which is in a lower vineyard position with oak leaf soils and a warmer micro-climate. This Shiraz is made in the classic style, powerful in flavour with lush black fruit characters and spices but also elegant due to the altitude and proximity to the ocean. The Shiraz was matured for 16 months in 40% new French oak barrels.
