Product Description:
The nose is complex and inviting, offering Morello cherry, cranberry, raspberry, and hints of cotton candy, rose petal, and acacia blossom. The palate shows red apple and nectarine flavors, with hints of green plum, citrus, and rosewater following through. The wine is concentrated and balanced, with a well-rounded, supple mid-palate and integrated natural acidity. It finishes clean and fresh, with an attractive cherry finish and a hint of exotic spices and peach. Great mouthfeel and complexity for a wine made in this style.

Vinifikation Our classic blend once again consists of our three Mediterranean grape varieties, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and a touch of Viognier, with a higher proportion of Syrah, as we enjoy working with this robust variety that offers beautiful aromatics of violets, blackberries, ripe plums, and bramble. Paired with a spicy, peppery profile, it is a trademark of The Wolftrap. The Mourvèdre from Swartland lends a smoky character and red fruit aromas to the wine. The small amount of Viognier contributes vibrancy. A rustic Rhône assemblage in the classic Châteauneuf du Pape style. The various grape varieties of this highly popular blend were fermented separately in stainless steel tanks and then partially aged for 9 months in French barriques before being blended and bottled.
