Vinifikation The vineyards for this special blend were chosen from our best sites: L'Ormarins in Franschhoek and Rooderust in Groenekloof, near Darling. The L'Ormarins vineyards, with their decomposed granite, lend richness and opulence to the wine. The Rooderust vineyards, which have more clay and a slightly warmer climate, provided the intense fruit aromas. The combination of these terroirs results in a unique wine. There, they are sorted again by hand and then fermented. The wine matures for 18-24 months in 100% new French barriques and a further 24 months in the bottle.
