Product Description:
Luminous medium ruby red. Aromas of cassis, liquorice, and bittersweet chocolate, plus a hint of geranium. Densely packed yet supple and fine-grained, with dark fruit and liquorice flavours joined by a Medoc-like weediness. Very smooth and vinous, giving an impression of energy, but also a slight green shimmer. The finish is broad, with a fine layer of tannins and a repeating green note.

Vinifikation The grapes were hand-picked and placed in small crates. Sorting occurred both before and after destemming. Alcoholic fermentation took place in tronconic stainless steel tanks. Extended pump-overs and prolonged maceration ensured gentle extraction of ripe polyphenols. The wine matured for a total of 14 months in wooden barrels, 50% in new 400-liter French oak barrels, and the remaining 50% in second-fill barrels.
