Product Description:
The delicacy of rosewater sails together with fresh fennel, peppered raspberry and red cherry succulence; the aromatics shift the shadows of garrigue and dark florality. On the attack, an intoxicating bite of sweet-sour wild plum, juicy blackcurrant; a violet sappiness against gravelly grape tannin, adding rocky depth to the luminous palate. A vibrant acidity also acts as a textural element, slowly transitioning with the intensity of the structure into a graceful finish.

Vinifikation Located on the cooler eastern slopes of Bottelary, this trellised vineyard was planted in 2004 with the CF1 clone of Cabernet Franc. On soils of decomposed granite and at an altitude of 260 metres above sea level, this low-yielding vineyard produces smaller grapes offering incredible concentration, structure and ripeness at lower sugar levels.
