Classic honeyed and peach-toned, this wine displays real depth and breadth with aromas of honey on warm white toast, lemon pastille, wet straw and toasted apple strudel. The palate is creamy and full-bodied, with luxurious notes of mandarin, pineapple and white peach, with a real textural depth and a wonderfully polished, balanced, glycerine length on the finish. For the money this wine is truly very impressive, showing all that is exciting about affordable Swartland Chenin Blanc.

Vinifikation The grapes come from un-irrigated vines in the renowned Swartland region. These conditions naturally limit the yield and produce ripe berries with high acidity. No oak was used in the cellar. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with natural yeasts, and the wine was left on its fine lees for as long as possible before being bottled.
