Product Description:
The nose is quite powerful, with a strong maritime element shining through and aromas of sea spray and seaweed permeating the yellow plum fruit. On the palate, it is very well balanced with a fleshy, stony attack. Mandarin, pineapple, and a hint of ginger compete for attention. The finish is perhaps a little short but concentrated and lively. Very fine. (This wine was not produced in 2019.)

Vinifikation This wine is made from a single vineyard, planted in 1977 in Piekenierskloof in the Citrusdal district. The soils consist of decomposed sandstone soils, located at approx. 750m above sea level. This vineyard is passionately managed by the Sandell family and team. The wine is aged for 10 months in neutral oak barrels.
