Product Description:
Dense, almost impenetrable garnet red. Pronounced on the nose, ripe fruit components; some dark chocolate, juicy cherries and ripe, dark forest berries, a hint of banana; delicately smoky. Dry on the palate with a firm tannic core; complex, mineral, spicy and juicy. New aromas constantly emerge; powerful, elegant, invigorating with a long finish!

De Compostella stands in Latin for "field of stars" Starry sky / Star field

26% Cabernet Franc, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Petit Verdot, 8% Malbec and 8% Merlot.

Each variety spent 12 months in barrel before being blended to 60% new and 40% 2nd fill French oak for a further 12 months. Total 20 months maturation.
