On the palate, delicious nuances of ripe blackberry, spicy clove, nutmeg, and star anise unfold. Ripe tannins and good structure ensure a long finish with a full body and strong intensity. A spicy, ripe, and well-structured Syrah with elegant influences.

Vinifikation The Porcupine Ridge Syrah, a single-varietal red wine, comes from the renowned South African winery Boekenhoutskloof and shines with remarkable complexity and a rich, extracted structure. The high-quality grapes originate from a single vineyard site in the high altitudes of Franschhoek and thrive on weathered granite soil with sandy earth. Like the other products from this cult South African winery, the Porcupine Ridge Syrah is characterized by an outstanding balance of varietal fruit and the specific characteristics of the terroir. The red wine matures for nine months in French barriques, revealing a particularly rich, concentrated structure.
