A perfect expression of this versatile varietal. Spice, plum, cassis on the nose, followed by a rich and structured palate. The new oak plays a lovely supportive role, adding the vanilla spice flavours, but still allowing the fruit, notes of spice, and Melba toast found in this well balanced wine to shine through.

Geschacksnoten Full-bodied & powerful, Fruity, Oaked, Mature & complex, Strong tannins
Vinifikation The grapes from the individual plots were separately pressed and fermented in open stainless steel tanks with regular punch-downs (4-5 times daily), followed by extended maceration. The different wines were then transferred into a combination of first, second, and third-fill French oak barrels and aged for 20 months.
