Vinifikation Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, with extended maceration on the skins and regular pump-overs for gentle extraction of color and aroma. Afterwards, malolactic fermentation occurred in new French oak for selected tanks and the remainder in stainless steel tanks, followed by barrel aging. Aging lasted 18 months in 225-liter French oak barrels, 43% new, 45% second fill, and the remainder third fill.
