It has an elegant nose of red berry fruits with a hint of Rooibos and bergamot, very well defined and concentrated. The palate is of unobtrusive intensity, fine acidity and beautiful structure with a gentle grip, juicy with pimento and sage on the lingering finish. Vinifikation The now eighth vintage of 'Follow The Line' continues to be one of the most highly regarded old vine Cinsaults in South Africa. As always, the fruit comes from 41-year-old bush vines in Darling, growing on decomposed granite soils. The 2021 vintage is spontaneously fermented with 50% whole clusters. Subsequently, 'Follow The Line' underwent malolactic fermentation in old 500-liter French oak barrels and then spent nine months in 1,500 to 2,000-liter foudres.
