This Fynbos Vinegar combines the flavors of South Africa's unique flowers and herbs, found only in the Fynbos region around Cape Town. The carefully selected herbs reflect the rich biodiversity of the Cape region. Fynbos Vinegar contains Buchu, Honeybush, Rose Geranium, wild Rosemary, and wild Olive blossoms. The Buchu plant, from the citrus family (Rutaceae), is native to the South African Cape Mountains. Its leaves taste like blackcurrant and are used by herbalists for their anti-inflammatory properties in urinary tract infections and stomachaches, or are recommended as a pick-me-up.
