Vinifikation The Buitenverwachting winery is located in the South African wine region of Constantia /wine/country/south-africa/constantia/, just 12 km from False Bay. The name is a promise and a self-imposed claim: quality wines. After the estate has already established itself as one of the top producers with its Sauvignon Blanc, the red wines are also to reach the top. The Bordeaux-style wine called Christine has undoubtedly succeeded, having already achieved great international fame and being accordingly rare on the market. The Meifort and the Merlot are also of great quality. The Meifort was aged for 24 months in used French oak barrels.
