The nose of the wine is perfumed, with notes of violet, white pepper, anise and thyme. On the palate it has a distinct white pepper note with black cherries and chalky tannins. The palate is layered, showing depth and complexity.

Vinifikation The 2015 Reserve Red is 100% Syrah. Fermentation involved 35% whole clusters, which were trodden by foot in concrete fermenters, while the remaining grapes were sorted and destemmed over the crushed whole clusters. Spontaneous fermentation occurred with minimal punch-downs and pump-overs. The wine was pressed into second-fill French barriques for malolactic fermentation. The wine was aged in oak barrels for a total of 22 months.
