Geschacksnoten Medium-bodied, Fresh & lively, Fruity, Bold tannins
Vinifikation Located in the Polkadraai Hills and just a stone's throw from False Bay, this parcel consists of only 7 rows of biodynamically grown Cabernet Franc. Coarse granite soils and a cool maritime climate provide a wine with persistent tannins and plenty of fresh fruit. The grapes were naturally fermented as whole bunches in open-top fermenters with regular punch-downs. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matured for a further 8 months in old French oak barrels.
