Vinifikation Wine of Origin Wellington, formerly part of the Paarl wine region, was declared an independent wine district in 2012. Granite soils and a Mediterranean climate characterize this region. Yields between 6-8 tons/hectare, sunny days with cool nights, and a light breeze from the Atlantic guarantee excellent grape quality. This Merlot / Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
