The Follow the Line always shows aromatic purity, strawberries, cherries, rose petals and violets. The 2022 vintage shows all of this with a little more texture and richness thanks to the warmer vintage. The vines adapted excellently to the challenges and produced an extremely complex wine with the characteristic freshness of the granitic soils.

Vinifikation The now eighth vintage of 'Follow The Line' continues to be one of South Africa's most highly regarded old-vine Cinsaults. As always, the fruit comes from 41-year-old bush vines in Darling, growing on decomposed granite soils. The 2022 is spontaneously fermented with 50% whole clusters. Subsequently, the Follow the Line underwent malolactic fermentation in old 500-liter French oak barrels and then spent nine months in foudres with capacities ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 liters and clay amphorae.
