The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% new oak, has a straightforward tobacco and sous-bois bouquet that is very Médocain in style. The palate is medium-bodied with dry tannin and grippy in the mouth, and the simple, slightly abrupt finish needs more complexity and nuance.

Vinifikation A cool start to the season, but it warmed up during harvest. Very little rainfall during the vintage, resulting in good, healthy grapes. After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed, sorted, and placed in stainless steel tanks. There, the must is fermented with regular bâtonnage. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, and the wine then matures for 18 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which were new.
