Product Description:
The wine shows a deep chestnut color and on the nose it has aromas of dark berries, five spice and cedar. There is a vibrancy with fresh herbs and notes of red currants. The palate is rich and dense with flavors that are mirrored from the nose. The mid-palate is weighty yet leads to a structured finish with persistent grainy tannins.

Vinifikation After harvesting, the grapes were destemmed, sorted, crushed, and placed in stainless steel tanks and wooden vats. This was followed by cold maceration for up to 5 days before the must was spontaneously fermented. During fermentation, the must was pumped over twice daily for better extraction. The subsequent malolactic fermentation took place in French oak barrels. After malolactic fermentation was complete, the Cabernet was aged for a total of 22 months in 44% new French oak barrels and the remaining 56% in used oak barrels. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered.
