The Babylonstoren Chenin Blanc has an alluringly fresh aroma of tropical fruits, melon, pineapple, and guava. A wine whose scent already evokes summer. On the palate, this unwooded white is zesty, crisp, and refreshing with a hint of fresh gooseberries and subtle notes of fragrant pear.

Geschacksnoten Medium-bodied, Fruity, Fresh & lively, Easy-drinking
Vinifikation The vines grow on the slopes of Simonsberg, between the wine regions of Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl. The grapes were gently pressed and cold-fermented for three weeks in stainless steel tanks. The wine matured for 4 months on the fine lees before being bottled. 10% of the Chenin Blanc was aged in 4000-liter French oak barrels, Nomblot concrete eggs, and terracotta amphorae.
