With a deep, rich, dark ruby red, the Nebuchadnezzar presents itself in the glass. Fine bouquet of violets and thyme, intense blackcurrant and cigar box. Excellent on the palate, with a good balance of vibrant, multi-layered dark red fruits, supported by firm, well-integrated tannins. The handling of the oak is effortless. Opulent yet refined with a long, convincing finish.

Vinifikation The grapes come from the slopes of Simonsberg, between the wine-growing regions of Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl. The grapes were vinified separately and aged for 23 months in French oak barrels. After blending, the wine was then matured for one month in stainless steel tanks before being bottled and aged for a further 5 months in the bottle.
