Product Description:
A wine that follows in the full-bodied footsteps of the 2019, with cranberry, pomegranate, and bruised strawberry on the nose, as well as rose, rosemary, and fynbos. The palate shows a darker edge, with olive tapenade and soy, and a hint of grilled meat. The tannins are sleek, but with a sturdy, pine needle grip that, along with a fresh acidity, adds structure to the wine.

Vinifikation Peter and Max are the first names of the winegrowers who supplied the grapes for the first vintage of this wine. The vineyards have since changed, but the name remains to honour the beginnings of our multi-vineyard Pinot Noir assemblage. The philosophy behind it is to create a blend from the different batches that is more than the sum of its individual parts. Naturally fermented with 70% destemmed fruit and the remainder as whole bunches. Extraction is kept to a minimum during active fermentation, with a total of 4 weeks on the skins.
