Product Description:
This wine has a deep purple color and offers a rich bouquet of dark chocolate, along with primary fruits such as blueberries and blackberries. These flavor profiles continue on the palate, with balanced oak, a hint of cedar, and some tobacco leaf. The tannins are fine and clean with a well-balanced acidity. It will age exceptionally well.

Vinifikation Hand-picked grapes from a single vineyard within the Simonsberg-Paarl appellation, hand-sorted and then spontaneously fermented in 400l open oak barrels, while a small portion was inoculated and fermented in a small open stainless steel tank. After 4 weeks of maceration on the skins, the free-run juice was transferred to new 225l French oak barrels for 18 months. Each barrel was evaluated and carefully selected before the final cuvée was chosen.
