Deep garnet red color. Inviting aromas of black cherries, plum, and cassis are complemented by spicy undertones of black olives, mint, and cedar. On the palate, the wine is fruit-driven and reflects the aromas. Structured tannins support the rich mouthfeel, which is balanced by a long, appetizing finish.

Vinifikation The grapes are selected from a variety of sites within Stellenbosch. We seek out the best soils and sites and blend the vineyards to create an expression of the Stellenbosch terroirs. Five days of fermentation in open-top tanks with temperature control and regular manual punch-downs and pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation took place in lined concrete tanks, after which the wine was transferred to 225-litre barrels. Maturation occurred for 20 months in oak barrels, 15% of which were new.
