A proud example of South Africa's signature varietal. This Pinotage displays a beautiful, deep violet colour with a bright crimson hue. The nose offers fruity aromas of raspberries and cherries. Gentle nuances of nutmeg and black pepper intermingle with succulent red fruit flavours, underscored by subtle hints of vanilla and oak spices, soft tannins and an elegant finish.

Vinifikation The wine originates from the Paardeberg, Swartland, and Breedekloof regions. The majority of the vineyards consist of unirrigated bush vines. The grapes were hand-picked at optimal ripeness, harvested at 24.5 degrees Balling. Fermentation took place at 22 to 24 degrees Celsius, with daily pump-overs and rackings.
