The intensely dark carmine red of the Rainbow's End Cabernet Franc Limited Release already makes you crave more. Aromas of dark chocolate, licorice, and hints of typical fruit notes of plums and ripe mulberries spread in the nose. On the palate, seductive tannins and a lush and endlessly velvety feel. The finish is reminiscent of nuances of ripe mulberries and soft nougat cream.

Vinifikation This wine is limited for the following reasons. The grapes come from a 0.8 ha block on this wine farm, which is 100% dedicated to this label. The single clone 312 is used for the Limited Release. Nobody in South Africa produces a Cabernet Franc solely from this clone, which makes it unique and offers something you cannot get anywhere else. Only 250 to 350 cases are produced annually. The wine was aged for 12 months, with 50% in new French oak barrels and the other 50% in second and third-fill barrels.
