Product Description:
A wonderfully fragrant nose with notes of cherries, white pepper and thyme. On the palate, it is intense, with a hint of flavour. Fynbos, spices, black cherries, and pepper notes complement each other in this regard. Ultimately, this wine is fresh, elegant, and has a lot of finesse, underscoring its complexity and depth.

Vinifikation The 2016 Reserve Red is 100% Syrah. Fermentation involved 35% whole bunches, foot-stomped in concrete fermenters, with the remaining grapes destemmed and layered over the crushed whole bunches. Spontaneous fermentation proceeds with minimal punch-downs and pump-overs. The wine is pressed into 2nd-fill French barriques for malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for a total of 22 months in oak barrels.
