Product Description:
Deep, opaque ruby red with a pronounced bouquet of cedarwood, pencil shavings, and dark chocolate, rounded off by cassis and black cherry. A full-bodied, classic Bordeaux-style Cabernet with fine-grained tannins and velvety acidity. Blackberries and mulberries complement the piquant spice of coriander seeds and juniper. Structured and powerful, this is a Cabernet that will gain in complexity with age.

Vinifikation The Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon was a natural addition to the range following the success of the Single Vineyard Syrah. A pure expression of only the best Cabernet Sauvignon Rust en Vrede has to offer. Grapes are harvested from our oldest and best Cabernet Sauvignon block on the property. Malolactic fermentation occurred in barrels, and the wine was then aged for 22 months in 300-liter French oak barrels, 50% of which were new wood.
